Austin Health provides hospital services across three sites in Heidelberg and Kew.

The Transport Courier, Linen & Mail Services Team is an in-house service providing an efficient and timely internal and external transport courier service between the Austin Health campuses, satellites, and external locations, including collection and delivery of medical records, pathology specimens, pharmacy items, theatre equipment and other items as required, as well as staff transport between the Austin and Repatriation campuses.

About the role

Our team’s focus is centred on client service delivery necessitating good relationships with numerous client groups and an understanding of their logistic needs with respect to collection and delivery of pathology specimens, reports, pharmaceutical items, medical records, medical and associated equipment and internal and external mail.

You will need to have:

  • Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and excellence in service delivery.
  • The ability to work varying shifts including weekends
  • Good communication skills
